Strong engineering background and leadership are essential for success in this role. The position offers opportunities to advance water efficiency initiatives, contribute to sustainability goals, and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering or related field with extensive experience.
• Master’s degree preferred with substantial relevant experience.
• Experience with mine water projects and water balance, treatment, or project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and prioritization of water conservation and treatment opportunities.
• Develop project scopes and oversee planning, design and construction of water systems.
• Provide implementation support and technical troubleshooting for water solutions.
• Serve as water management SME, mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to align on water strategies and report progress.
• Develop business cases, life-cycle analyses, and funding requests for projects.
• Identify emerging technologies to improve performance and safety.
• Support budgeting, vendor and service-related project budgets.
• Perform other duties as required.
