Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Manager of Metallurgy and Process Design in Phoenix to lead strategic metallurgical initiatives across growth projects and operations. You will provide expert guidance, mentor teams, and advance technologies and best practices in mineral processing.

Responsibilities include coordinating process engineering efforts, evaluating project impacts on cost and performance, and signing off on technical reviews. Requires strong data-centric and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of mineral processing experience, including 5+ years in operations and 3+ years in projects or technical initiatives.
• Experience in large Porphyry copper deposits processing.
• Ability to interpret geo-metallurgical results and perform regression analyses.

Responsabilités

• Lead metallurgical project planning, scoping, and stakeholder alignment.
• Provide technical guidance across growth projects and operations.
• Support technical evaluations, operational improvements, and reserve reporting.
