Job summary

The hybrid program combines virtual work with in-person collaboration at the Phoenix area Collaboration Hub, within commuting distance for interns. The role applies hydrology, hydrogeology, hydraulics, soil mechanics and related disciplines to water and dam projects, with exposure to multiple sites across North America.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time at a four-year university pursuing Civil/Water Resources Engineering or closely related field.
• Recent graduate within 12 months with a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications; strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Highly accurate and detail oriented.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide water management support related to the operation and maintenance of mine water systems including process and stormwater facilities.
• Support development of operations maintenance and surveillance manuals.
• Enhance knowledge base summary for water, stormwater and non-stormwater dams.
• Attend field inspections of stormwater facilities.
• Support field data collection and verification for water management.
• Perform other duties as required.
