Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Mechanical Team Lead to guide a cross-functional group through detailed design for power, oil & gas, and CCUS facilities. You will review calculations, specifications, P&IDs, and equipment selections while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients and vendors.

Hybrid role requiring in‑office work three days per week in Englewood, CO, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• BSME from ABET‑accredited program required; MSME preferred.
• Ten+ years in mechanical design for heavy industrial plants (power, oil & gas, or chemical).
• Three+ years leading an engineering design team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and designers through detailed mechanical design phases.
• Coordinate design reviews, calculations, specs, and material/equipment lists.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and interface with clients and vendors.
