Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to nuclear power plant systems design, including modification packages and technical documentation. The role emphasizes leadership of project teams and engagement with clients at sites or offices.

The position features a hybrid schedule with in-office work three days per week, and values expertise in applying codes, standards, and modern tools to improve workflows while ensuring design quality.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Ten+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical design of nuclear plants.
• PE license is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Involve in nuclear power plant systems design and review of modification packages.
• Prepare and review drawings, analyses, specifications, and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Lead engineering project teams and interface with clients at sites or offices.
