Job summary

Eversource seeks a Lead Engineer in Project Solutions to steer a diverse department focused on lifecycle planning, project execution, and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes resource management, quality control, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, finance, and operations.

You will supervise engineers and analysts, drive process enhancements, and contribute to risk and KPI management while supporting storm readiness and major events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; substation knowledge a plus.
• Minimum eight years in technical, operational, or engineering aspects of the electrical utility industry.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead department operations with focus on resource and workload management, internal customer interaction, and QA/QC.
• Support project lifecycle processes across engineering, finance, project management, and operations to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Support EPAC and SDC committees and maintain department tools for project authorization and handoffs.
• Establish, track, review and report KPIs in collaboration with Project Controls, Engineering, and other groups.
• Provide root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and contribute to standards development and technology evaluation.
• Assist with storm duty and major event readiness as needed.
