Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Lead Engineer in Project Solutions to lead a diverse department within the Business and Quality Assurance organization, driving lifecycle planning for transmission and distribution projects. This role coordinates across engineering, finance, and operations to ensure timely, quality project outcomes.

The position requires eight years in engineering or technical roles, supervisory experience preferred, and willingness to travel across MA/CT/NH.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred.
• Ability to independently develop, present and execute new projects.
• Familiarity with power related software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach engineers, reviewers and analysts.
• Manage department workload and resource allocation.
• Support lifecycle process across engineering, finance and project management.
• Assist EPAC and SDC in project approvals and governance.
• Develop and maintain tools for project authorization and handoffs.
• Track and report KPIs with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead process improvements for project lifecycle optimizations.
• Support storm duty and major event responses.
