Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an experienced supervisor to direct field engineering designers, prioritize assignments, and ensure safe, cost-effective project delivery. You will provide technical guidance, coach staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and regulatory commitments.

The role requires reviewing work for accuracy, developing designs, and coordinating with departments on outages, maintenance, and major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or engineering technology (ABET preferred).
• Minimum five years of related technical experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to travel between MA/CT/NH as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and supervise daily activities of field engineering designers.
• Review and approve work for internal/external customer requests and construction projects.
• Provide coaching, safety leadership, and technical guidance to staff.
• Develop cost-effective preliminary and detailed engineering designs and work orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet department and company goals.
• Support regulatory commitments and respond to engineering/technical requests.
