Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead design and delivery of electrical power and lighting projects. You will guide Illinois teams, manage design schedules, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary groups to ensure quality and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will hold a PE license, have a BS in Electrical/Architectural Engineering, and demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills across complex projects in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• US citizenship and valid driver’s license required; MVR check may be performed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop design teams for electrical power and lighting systems.
• Coordinate with architecture, structural, mechanical, and technology disciplines.
• Prepare schedules and assign duties to junior staff.
• Maintain project documentation and client communications.
