Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Labor Compliance Specialist to monitor certified payroll, oversee company-wide labor compliance, and review contracts for compliance across projects. The role requires three years in public works labor compliance and a strong background in wage enforcement.

The position is hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA. You will stay current on labor laws, train stakeholders, and support audits by coordinating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs.
• Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree in business or related field.
• Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis and auditing.
• Knowledge of state labor regulations and construction industry practices.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally across departments.
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor certified payroll for internal and external projects.
• Oversee labor compliance company-wide.
• Review public contracts for labor requirements and ensure proper monitoring.
• Conduct periodic audits to verify compliance.
• Develop risk assessments for Compliance Programs.
• Stay updated on applicable laws and regulations affecting SOLV Energy.
• Assist in third-party reviews and audits with the Director of Compliance.
• Train stakeholders, program employees, and contractors on labor compliance.
• Manage payroll documentation and third-party information requests.
• Utilize LCP Tracker and other tools to review certified payroll.
