Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York is seeking a Knowledge Strategy Specialist to join the Knowledge Management & Practice Solutions team in a hybrid role. You will collaborate with KM counsel and lawyers to develop and implement knowledge management projects, organize know-how, and ensure practice sites and tools stay up to date while introducing new lawyer-facing technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least two years in transactional law firm practice.
• Knowledge management experience and interest in technology in legal practice.
• Experience with GenAI and AI-enabled due diligence tools.
• Ability to learn new applications quickly and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement KM solutions with attorneys in selected practices.
• Collect, organize and upload reference materials to practice sites.
• Assist practitioners in locating internal and external resources.
• Monitor legal and industry developments and trends.
• Automate documents and improve practice workflows with automation tools.
• Support AI-driven due diligence tools and collaborating with matter teams.
• Coordinate feedback with vendors and other technology teams.
• Promote best practices in the use of new technologies.
• Engage with attorneys to promote KM initiatives and gather feedback.
• Manage multiple projects and meet operating needs.
