Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Key Account Executive to be the single point of contact for large, complex customers and to drive solution-based selling through deep knowledge of Arrow’s supply chain solutions.

You will negotiate contracts, manage RFQs, and build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers to grow sales and maximize margins. Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Has a thorough understanding of customer needs and decision-making hierarchy.
• 5 years of key account management or sales management experience in electronics distribution.
• Ability to influence customers and build senior-level relationships.
• Experience with distribution and complex major accounts.
• Proficiency with data analytics and sales tools (SFDC, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Has previously managed a territory or accounts up to $125 million.
• P&L experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quotations and contract negotiations: plan, manage, and oversee RFQ’s signed within assigned customers.
• Ensure RFQ activities align with Arrow guidelines and procedures.
• Directly participate in review and negotiation of significant contracts.
• Review customer requests to amend terms and conditions in contracts.
• Ensure information flow for seamless contract renewal/negotiation.
• Maintain and grow share within each assigned account.
• Develop strategy with suppliers and customers; understand customer business at all levels.
• Lead cross-functional teams and act as a best-practices resource.
