Job summary

Braven is hiring an IT Systems Engineer in a hybrid role based in New York City or Chicago. You will own the administration of core collaboration tools (Jira Service Management, Slack, Zoom) and drive automation to reduce internal friction.

Report to the Head of Workplace Technology & Operations and partner with the IT Systems Architect on infrastructure decisions. The role emphasizes automation design, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve workflows while supporting 3+

Qualifications

At least 3 years of IT experience with 1–2 years administering SaaS collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace).
Experience designing and building automations or scripted workflows (e.g., Jira automation, Okta Workflows, PowerShell, Python).

Responsibilities

Administer Jira Service Management projects, workflows, request types, and automation rules.
Administer Slack and Zoom at an organizational level, including app management and provisioning.
Identify and design automated solutions to improve workflows; partner with teams to translate pain points into automation.
Collaborate with IT Systems Architect on infrastructure decisions affecting collaboration tooling and coordinate with vendors.
