Job summary

Braven is hiring an IT Systems Engineer to own the administration of core collaboration and productivity platforms and to drive automation across internal workflows. The role reports to the Head of Workplace Technology & Operations and operates within a collaborative IT team in Chicago.

The candidate will oversee Jira Service Management, Slack, and Zoom, design automation, and partner with the IT Systems Architect on infrastructure decisions. On-site in Chicago with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of IT experience.
• 1–2 years administering SaaS collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace).
• Experience designing automations or scripted workflows (e.g., Jira automation, Okta Workflows, PowerShell, Python).
• Preferred: Jira/Jira Service Management workflow and automation design.
• Experience with Okta and identity administration.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT to administer Jira Service Management, Slack, and Zoom.
• Identify manual workflows and design automated solutions (e.g., Jira automation, scripting).
• Provide tier 2/3 support for collaboration platforms and document configurations.
