Xcel Energy is seeking an Associate Systems Analyst to support IT solution operations, automate processes, and provide escalated support to restore services. The role includes QA activities, documenting changes, and ensuring proper controls.

You will monitor system outputs and contribute to new technical solutions when needed. The position emphasizes collaboration with IT teams and customers, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to grow in a Fortune 500 energy provider.

• Two years of related functional experience.
• Strong communication skills, effective with varying organizational levels and skill sets.
• Strong relationship management and collaboration across teams to drive results.
• Strong business process design and operation skills.
• Demonstrated strong technical acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical points to non-technical.
• Proven ability to creatively problem solve issues.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply knowledge of new tools and systems.
• Experience and understanding of core IT.
• Service Management functions, such as Change Management and Incident Management.

Responsabilités

• Operations: Execute regular defined operational processes to ensure data integrity and reports; document and report performance deficiencies and risks; propose changes to improve operations.
• Analysis: Assist with analysis, solution design, and prioritization of business needs; participate in technical projects; perform QA activities; create technical requirements as needed.
• Relationship Management: Coordinate with IT teams and customers during testing and change deployments; support user acceptance testing for releases.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Develop a high level of expertise in supported systems.
