Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Client Systems Support Specialist for a hybrid role in Somerset, NJ. The contract position offers remote work on Mon/Wed/Fri and onsite Tue/Thu, with a 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST schedule and training hours.

You will resolve software/hardware issues, support connectivity products, and manage tickets to improve customer experience. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in help desk or IT support, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• 3+ years of help desk, technical support, or technical customer service experience.
• Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams for software applications and related products.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, Bluetooth connectivity, and mobile device issues.
• Assist customers with connectivity products and third-party device compatibility.
• Research and test third-party devices for product compatibility.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Document, track, and resolve issues using a ticketing system.
• Escalate complex technical issues as needed.
• Communicate outages, technical issues, and recommended solutions to customers.
• Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
