Job summary

Perkins Eastman is seeking an IT Client Service Specialist to directly support the Dallas Office while providing remote assistance across locations. You will collaborate with IT Support, Systems, Applications and Network teams to design and implement technology projects firm-wide.

The role emphasizes customer service, strong communication, documentation, and proactive problem solving in a hybrid office environment. Travel not typically required, but may occur.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of IT Support experience (AEC firm a plus).
• Certifications in Microsoft, Apple, A+ are a plus.
• Understanding of Microsoft server/workstation operating systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Strong problem solving and remote management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with varied audiences.
• Ability to capture and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Reliable, collaborative, and proactive in IT policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
• Organize and maintain IT resources.
• Basic problem solving including use of remote management systems.
• Communicate effectively with audiences of varying levels of technical understanding.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Travel is not typically required but may occur for regional or site-based offices.
• Be available for emergency support and after-hours as needed.
