Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking an IT Support Specialist (Contract) to support our Texas offices. The role handles installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PC systems, networks, and peripherals across locations in Dallas and Austin, with travel as needed.

You will respond to end-user incidents, configure hardware/software, and train users to ensure efficient operations. The contract runs for about 6 months with a 40-hour work week and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant IT support experience.
• Associates degree or equivalent training/experience.
• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Mac OS X.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and support business applications.
• Maintain/update hardware inventory to comply with asset management standards.
• Handle IT service requests (phone, email, walk-in) promptly.
• Support printers, fax machines, copiers, and multifunction devices.
• Troubleshoot, install, patch, and upgrade computer systems.
• Physically set up and deploy computer systems, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
• Train users on hardware/software use to maintain efficiency.
• Assist with maintenance of company phone systems and cell phones.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
