Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a mature IT Support Engineer in Washington, DC for a hybrid role. You will provide end-user desktop, laptop, and device support, manage AD/Exchange/SharePoint environments, and ensure service continuity for executives in a highly secure financial services setting.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong communication skills to interact with staff at all levels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical user support experience.
• Experience in small to medium-scale environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote assistance for end user technical requests.
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Train users on supported hardware and software.
• Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and ensure secure access control.
• Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledge base.
