Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across headquarters and nationwide centers. You will lead Windows administration, cloud technologies, and Microsoft 365 platforms while providing escalation support and technical leadership.

Responsibilities include AD/Exchange/SharePoint/Teams administration, storage and backup, and disaster recovery. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and cross-team collaboration in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Enterprise Domain Administration experience.
• Extensive Active Directory administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Replication.
• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Cloud experience (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Backup, disaster recovery, and data migration experience.
• Infrastructure monitoring and performance management experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Build, patch, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems.
• Execute scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
• Administer Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure.
• Manage enterprise file services and storage platforms.
• Support cloud infrastructure and services.
• Maintain critical business systems and enterprise applications.
• Perform backups, migrations, and disaster recovery activities.

• Hybrid Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday onsite
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
• On-call rotation required
• Occasional nights, weekends, and holiday support as needed

Compensation

• PR: $50-$70 per hour

Position Overview

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise infrastructure across corporate headquarters and 10 distribution centers nationwide. This role serves as a senior technical resource focused on Windows administration, cloud technologies, server infrastructure, storage, backup and disaster recovery, and Microsoft enterprise platforms while providing escalation support and technical leadership.

• Research and recommend technology solutions
• Partner with infrastructure teams, project managers, and business stakeholders
• Train and mentor junior team members
• Help standardize operational procedures and best practices
