Job summary

North Country Business Products is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our team. In this role you will troubleshoot hardware and software issues for Point of Sale clients and provide friendly, timely service.

This hybrid position based in the Plymouth/Minneapolis area requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple requests.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a two-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in POS, IT support, hospitality, grocery or retail is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Experience with network connectivity and related software is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and timely technical support to Point of Sale clients.
• Troubleshoot, assess, and resolve a variety of hardware and software issues.
• Keep clients informed with timely updates on service requests, progress, and resolution plans.
• Install and configure software, including remote technician tools, antivirus software, POS applications, and COS updates.
• Research client information, service history, and internal/external resources to identify and implement effective solutions.
• Prioritize incoming support requests and work efficiently to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
