Job summary

You will coordinate with IT Leadership and other departments, ensure scope alignment, risk control, governance, and clear reporting to executives. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years project management experience in Financials Services, Insurance, or Software Development; with experience tracking and planning projects on time, on-schedule, and within budget
• Experience moving from legacy technology to complex modern SaaS platforms (ex: Duck Creek, SFDC, Fabric, AI based engines)
• Aptitude for synthesizing conversations and processing documentation to effectively communicate the most critical concepts required for understanding.
• Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources
• Experience with various business applications to manage projects, scorecards, communications, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and solution-oriented mindset, with demonstrated flexibility in problem solving
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects and SDLC lifecycle with proactive, fixed-scope delivery
• Establish deliverables, timeframes, goals; hold team accountable for completion
• Prepare and maintain detailed project plans and scope documents
• Develop vendor relationships, budgets, change management, risks and issues mitigation
• Provide status reporting to leadership and manage risks and issues
• Close out projects with final reports and recommendations
