Job summary

KMRG, LLC is seeking a Project Coordinator to support US Capitol Police IT projects from the Southwest Washington, DC area. The hybrid role covers requirements, backlog management, Agile ceremonies, and PMO governance, with collaboration across stakeholders, developers, and PMs.

Responsibilities include documenting needs, maintaining schedules, and ensuring clear, usable project records. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of coordination experience, with security clearance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
At least 5 years of administrative, coordination, or project-support experience.
Familiarity with project management concepts, workflows, and tools.

Responsibilities

Support requirements gathering, user-story development, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement for IT projects.
Document needs with stakeholders, developers, and project managers and keep requirements current.
Maintain backlogs using JIRA and Teams Planner; assist with UAT planning and coordination.
Assist sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
Prepare/update project schedules, status reports, and action logs; capture meeting notes.
Support PMO governance: risk/issue tracking and stakeholder updates; maintain project docs in SharePoint/Confluence.
Create clear project materials for government review and decisions; ensure documentation accuracy.
