Job summary

TAI Engineers, LLC is seeking an IT Operations Manager to lead day-to-day IT operations, ensure system reliability and security, and coordinate with internal and external teams. You will drive cybersecurity initiatives, governance, and service delivery across the organization.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep technical knowledge of Windows/M365, and experience with regulatory cybersecurity standards. Hybrid work arrangements in the New Orleans area are available.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of progressively responsible IT experience.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure and supporting 50–100+ users.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, endpoint management, data backup, IAM, and cybersecurity.
• Experience managing external IT service providers and technology vendors.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to secure and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations across servers, networks, workstations, mobile devices, printers, and cloud services.
• Ensure availability, reliability, performance, and security of IT systems.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, authentication, group policies, and system configurations.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
• Oversee backup, recovery, patching, system maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Establish and maintain processes for deployment, configuration, maintenance, and retirement of hardware/software.
• Monitor IT systems for performance, availability, security events, and potential issues.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and system documentation.
• Manage software procurement, renewals, and monitor maintenance agreements.
