Job summary

Global Impact is seeking an IT Manager to oversee day-to-day IT operations, covering systems, networks, and applications with a strong emphasis on security and compliance.

The role drives client onboarding, MSP collaboration, Windows/Mac hardware lifecycle, and SLA-backed service delivery, while enabling cross-functional project execution. This full-time hybrid position is based in Washington, DC, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems or related field.
• 5–7 years IT experience with 2 years in design and administration of systems/networks.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
• Project Management certifications preferred (CCNA, Security+, Azure Administrator, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations for Global Impact clients, IT systems, networks, and applications.
• Lead onboarding, implementation, training, and go-live for new clients.
• Maintain IT infrastructure and SaaS environments with strong security controls and disaster recovery.
• Ensure availability, integrity, and security of IT systems to minimize downtime.
• Conduct IT & Security audits and prepare assessment reports for Global Impact clients.
• Collaborate in planning, design, and execution of IT initiatives and projects.
• Oversee the IT helpdesk and provide high-quality support for all employees.
• Manage lifecycle of Windows and Mac hardware, including provisioning and decommissioning.
• Partner with MSP to meet SLAs and ensure timely ticket resolution.
• Develop and implement IT and cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Maintain IT documentation and system configurations.
