Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to scale our global asset management and hardware lifecycle program across offices in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, London, Dublin and Sydney. You will own procurement, inventory, assignment, refresh, collection and disposal, plus corporate mobile operations.

You will partner with IT, Security and Finance, implement asset management tooling, maintain data models, and drive automation of repeatable tasks to improve efficiency and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing asset management and lifecycle programs across multi-office fleets.
• Ability to define processes for procurement, inventory, assignment, refresh, collection and disposal.

Responsibilities

• Develop the global asset management strategy and lifecycle model.
• Select, implement and administer the asset management tool; define data model and integrations.
• Define processes for on-site engineers and storage room operations.
• Onboard and manage a hardware lifecycle services vendor; run day-to-day relationship.
• Establish the inventory of record across systems and maintain accuracy.
• Run audits to reconcile physical counts with the system of record.
• Manage demo/loaner/travel device inventories and complex deployments.
• Maintain up-to-date counts and inform strategic purchasing for onboarding and stock levels.
• Support hardware purchasing and build out refresh calendar across offices.
• Create device collection, e-waste and disposal workflows with certified partners.
• Handle BPO fleet provisioning and recovery with vendors.
• Oversee corporate mobile program operations and run its runbook.
• Identify repetitive work and drive automation via scripts and integrations.
