Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to own the global asset management and hardware lifecycle program across our offices in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, London, Dublin and Sydney. You’ll define the lifecycle model, manage procurement, inventory, refresh, collection and secure disposal, and partner with IT, Security and Business Operations.

You will also run day-to-day corporate mobile operations and build scalable, automated solutions to reduce manual work and improve data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience implementing asset management and lifecycle for multi-office fleets.
• Experience with asset management platforms such as Jira Assets or Snipe-IT.
• Familiarity with e-waste programs and data destruction records.
• Experience managing hardware vendor relationships.
• Ability to write runbooks and knowledge base articles.

Responsibilities

• Develop the global asset management strategy: lifecycle model, data, and office execution.
• Select, implement and administer the asset management tool, define data model and integrations.
• Contribute to processes for on-site engineers and storage room handling.
• Support evaluation and onboarding of hardware lifecycle services vendors and manage ongoing relationships.
