Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to own the global asset management and hardware lifecycle program across offices in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, London, Dublin and Sydney. You will define the lifecycle model, track every device, manage procurement, inventory, refresh, collection and disposal, and oversee reseller relationships.

You will partner with IT, Security and business operations, contribute to on-site processes, and run day-to-day operations for the corporate

Qualifications

• Implemented an asset management and lifecycle program for a multi-office fleet.
• Experience with asset management platforms such as Jira Assets, Snipe-IT, or similar.
• Experience managing e-waste or secure disposal programs with chain-of-custody records.
• Managed reseller or vendor relationships for hardware purchasing and asset disposal.
• Strong documentation skills and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Develop global asset management strategy and data model.
• Select and administer asset management tool; integrate with IT Engineering.
• Establish inventory of record across systems and reconcile counts.
• Run audits and manage demo/loaner/ travel device inventories.
• Coordinate hardware purchasing and refresh calendar with vendors.
• Develop device collection, e-waste and secure disposal workflows.
• Manage BPO fleet and day-to-day hardware contacts for vendors.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripts and integrations.
