Job summary

Steiner Electric is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support our technology and systems that drive Steiner’s distribution and manufacturing operations. You’ll work with users to understand needs, define requirements, troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and maintain documentation.

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams in a highly engaged environment and includes training and data analysis to ensure system effectiveness and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience supporting IT systems in manufacturing and/or distribution.
• Epicor Eclipse software knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT system support to users and translate business needs into solutions.
• Gather requirements, test modifications, and document changes.
• Develop and maintain system procedures and user guides.
• Conduct application and system training for users.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate resolutions to users.
• Validate reports to ensure data accuracy.
• Explain technical information in user-friendly language.
• Analyze large data sets and understand data requirements.
• Track project status using project management software.
