Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business users and IT, translating needs into clear system requirements, coordinating reporting, data analysis, and process improvements to support business operations.

You will work with AS400/IBM i, Tableau, Excel, and ERP systems, gathering requirements, developing tests, and supporting UAT. This hybrid role suits a detail-oriented, analytical professional in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or analytics.
• 3-5 years in BA/Systems Analyst roles.
• AS400 / IBM-i experience required.
• Knowledge of databases and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
• Ability to translate needs into functional specs for IT.
• Experience generating reports and running queries.
• Proficiency in Excel and BI tools like Tableau.
• Experience with system testing and UAT.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to understand needs and translate into requirements.
• Serve as liaison between business users and IT/programming teams.
• Evaluate requests and determine system requirements and impacts.
• Coordinate with programmers on enhancements and issue resolution.
• Follow up to ensure requirements are addressed.
• Coordinate system testing and UAT with end users.
• Generate reports and analyze data to support decisions.
• Analyze sales, production, and inventory data for trends and opportunities.
• Maintain documentation of processes and reporting needs.
• Assist with implementing new systems and improvements.
• Support users regarding system functionality and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Manage multiple system-related projects and communicate status.
