Job summary

Steiner Electric is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support the technology and systems that drive our manufacturing and distribution operations. The role collaborates with users to understand business needs, identify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.

The position emphasizes ownership, data analysis, and effective communication across cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and at least two years in a business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience supporting IT systems within a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide users with support for the technology and systems that support Steiner’s business.
• Gather and interpret information, identify requirements, determine solutions, and communicate solutions to users.
• Test system modifications and enhancements to ensure they meet requirements.
• Develop and maintain system procedure documentation for modifications and operating procedures.
• Conduct application and system training for users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; communicate resolutions to users.
• Perform report validation to help ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate technical information in both technical and user-friendly language.
