Job summary

Clarity Partners LLC is seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst in Chicago, IL, in a hybrid role. The analyst will manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, maintain CMDB accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective technology investments.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in IT Asset Management, experience with ServiceNow or Freshservice, and knowledge of ITIL/ITSM principles. Proficiency in asset forecasting and cost optimization is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of IT Asset Management experience.
• Experience with IT asset platforms like ServiceNow or Freshservice.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, utilization, maintenance, inventory, and disposal of hardware and software assets.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, software licenses, maintenance agreements, and related documentation.
• Administer and maintain the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and ITSM alignment.
• Develop and improve IT asset management processes, including tagging, inventory tracking, and compliance audits.
• Support software asset management activities, including license tracking and optimization.
• Monitor vendor agreements, licensing, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct physical inventories and manage stock replenishment.
• Develop KPIs related to asset utilization and compliance.
• Prepare reports on inventory, end-of-life equipment, license positions, and future asset needs.
