Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an IT Asset Administrator to maintain software and hardware license compliance and perform regular audits. You will lead license tracking, renewal reviews, and vendor negotiations to minimize costs.

The role requires an Associate degree in IT or related field, and at least two years in asset administration; ServiceNow SAM experience is preferred. Hybrid schedule: 4 days in Wyoming, MI and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is preferred.
• Two years asset administration software experience is strongly preferred.
• ServiceNow Software Asset Management experience is preferred.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills and organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently or in a team.
• Develops solutions to problems of moderate scope; refers to policies for guidance.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email and internet software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creation of asset management tools, standards and processes.
• Maintain license audit schedule and perform regular internal and external license audits.
• Provide licensing guidance to managers regarding new systems and changes affecting licensing.
• Review existing contracts to provide guidance and understanding to managers.
• Review new contracts to provide input prior to signature.
• Provide input for budgeting renewals, new support contracts and subscription agreements.
• Participate in vendor negotiations and track vendor performance.
• Review quotes, PO’s and invoices for accuracy; create and submit POs to vendors on time.
• Manage hardware and software support renewals.
• Produce asset management and IT financial reporting timely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
