Job summary

Temple University’s Information Technology Services Department seeks an IT Technical Analyst 1 to support enterprise applications and data workflows. The role emphasizes requirements gathering, data analysis, and light development using Python and JavaScript within on‑prem and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include SQL work against Oracle databases and collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, DBAs, and infrastructure teams. A hybrid work setup is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/related field
• At least 2 years IT experience
• Experience with SQL, HTML, CSS, JS frameworks, and Power Apps
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar databases
• Experience developing with Python or similar tools
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, data analysis, and support development changes to improve business processes
• Use SQL against Oracle databases and light development with Python/JS/HTML
• Support on‑premise and cloud applications; assist with Windows/Linux OS maintenance
