Job summary

Temple University's Information Technology Services Department is seeking an IT Technical Analyst 1 in Philadelphia. The role focuses on mission-critical enterprise applications, including Continuing Education and ERP Document Management tools.

responsibilities include requirements gathering, data analysis, and light development with Python/JavaScript/HTML. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, 2+ years IT experience, and experience with SQL

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field.
At least 2 years of IT related experience.
Experience with SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and Microsoft Power Apps.
Experience with using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar database technologies.
Experience developing with Python or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements, data analysis, and support development changes to improve business processes.
Use SQL against Oracle databases and light development with Python/JavaScript/HTML.
Work with on-prem and cloud environments, Windows/Linux OS maintenance.
Coordinate with vendors, DBAs, and stakeholders.
