Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Senior Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to support the IPT practice’s growth in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate pitches, RFPs, and marketing programs, help with directories and awards submissions, and manage events and reporting with a focus on quality and deadlines.

The role offers a hybrid work model across multiple offices including Houston, with opportunities to grow in BD and marketing and collaborate with attorneys and clients on strategic

Qualifications

• 3 years of business development, marketing, or pitch and proposal experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with patent litigation and litigation analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pitches, proposals and RFP responses from kickoff to delivery, tracking deadlines and gathering inputs.
• Schedule kickoff calls, capture requirements and assignments, and document key matter details.
• Conduct company, industry and competitor research to support pitch strategy using analytics tools.
• Draft, format and proofread pitch content, attorney bios, matter descriptions, and case lists; ensure client-ready deliverables.
• Maintain and update stock language, experience, and representative matters.
