Job summary

DLA Piper LLP in the United States is seeking a Senior BD & Marketing Coordinator to support the IPT practice with a focus on patent litigation. You will coordinate pitches, RFPs, and marketing initiatives, while maintaining deadlines and quality across multiple matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of business development, marketing, or pitch and proposal experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong organization, deadline management, and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with patent litigation and litigation analytics/docket research tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pitches, proposals, and RFP responses for IPT attorneys from kickoff through delivery.
• Draft, format, and proofread content; maintain stock language library and experience.
• Support directory and awards submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, IAM, WTR) with content and deadlines.
• Plan and execute client-facing events, conferences, and sponsorships; track outcomes.
• Track BD activity and reporting using CRM and firm tools; support leadership with dashboards.
