Job summary

Yara North America is seeking a Communications and Change Management Specialist to lead strategic communications and change initiatives that align with Americas priorities. The role partners with senior leaders to deliver consistent employee experiences across a matrixed, multicultural environment.

The position is based in Tampa, FL with a hybrid work schedule. Requirements include a BA in communications and 7+ years in internal comms/change management, plus strong writing and analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field (required).
• 7+ years of experience in internal communications and/or change management.
• Proven track record of partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in multicultural, matrixed environments.
• Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience measuring communication effectiveness, employee engagement, and change adoption.
• Familiarity with change management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter) preferred.
• Experience with AI tools and digital communication platforms is a plus.
• English: Fluent (native or advanced proficiency required).
• Ability to travel occasionally within North America (up to 10-15%).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align local communication and change management initiatives with the broader Americas strategy and regional priorities.
• Support the Business Unit SVP with Town Halls and communication activities, including toolkits, talking points, FAQs, and change narratives.
• Develop communication plans, messaging frameworks, leadership materials, and employee engagement campaigns for strategic projects.
• Assess change impacts of strategic projects and define action plans to drive employee adoption and minimize resistance.
• Partner with business leaders, People & Culture, and project teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Measure communication effectiveness and change adoption through surveys, analytics, and feedback, and recommend improvements based on insights.
• Manage internal communication channels, including intranet, newsletters, town halls, videos, and digital platforms.
