Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams following ANSI/ISA S5.1, design electrical panels, and manage project schedules. The role involves creating 3D models and 2D drawings for large-scale facilities, collaborating within global teams, and delivering quality reports.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
• Familiarity with controls, electrical panels and cable tray.
• Instrument placement experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
