Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to contribute to data center, semiconductor, and industrial facility projects in the United States. You will develop P&ID diagrams following ANSI/ISA S5.1, and design panels including wiring diagrams while coordinating with global teams.

You will manage schedules, prepare reports, and leverage BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. The role offers a hybrid work model between Jacobs offices and remote locations with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Associates Degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology.
• Experience designing data center, semiconductor, and other industrial facilities.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls and familiarity with P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data centers and manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
