Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams and panel designs, following ANSI/ISA S5.1. You’ll create 3D models and 2D drawings for industrial facilities and work with global teams on time-based project delivery.

The role emphasizes BIM tools expertise (BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a base salary range and hybrid work options across the United States.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams.
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing data centers, semiconductor and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Collaborate within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
