Job summary

System One is seeking an Instructional Designer in Vienna, VA for a contract role with hybrid onsite/remote work. You will design, develop, and evaluate training programs, working with business units to tailor curricula and learning experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, business, communications, or related field.
Experience evaluating courses and learning products and delivery methods.
Advanced knowledge of instructional theories and educational psychology.

Responsibilities

Advise and assist trainers on course evaluation results.
Collaborate to plan and design courses and curricula; ensure content accuracy and test multimedia elements.
Conduct needs assessments to provide customized training or coaching to improve performance.
Create and edit LMS activities; set up training assignments and generate LMS reports.
Develop instructional content using current technologies including multimedia elements.
Develop and test course content and training materials for various delivery methods.
