Saint Therese is seeking an institutional giving manager to grow philanthropic support across corporate partnerships, foundations, government grants, and sponsorships. You will lead the full lifecycle from prospect research to reporting, partnering with Finance and program teams to strengthen Saint Therese programs.

You will develop annual plans, manage a large prospective portfolio, and ensure timely, compelling funding requests.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in fundraising, corporate relations, foundation relations, or a related field.
• Proven success writing grants and securing awards of $10,000 or more.
• Proven success securing corporate gifts and sponsorships of $5,000 or more.
• Knowledge of institutional fundraising, grant compliance, and sponsorship fulfillment.
• Ability to interpret program budgets, outcome data, and funding requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic, goal-oriented thinker with strong problem-solving and independent work style.
• Highly organized with strong time-management and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Collaborative, team-oriented with ability to partner with staff and volunteers.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
• Proficiency with donor management software such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, submit, and manage grant applications, letters of inquiry, proposals, and other funding requests.
• Ensure all applications, updates, and reports are accurate and submitted on time.
• Create invoices for corporate and foundation pledges and track payments.
• Manage post-award responsibilities, including grant budgets, compliance, progress updates, and reporting.
• Oversee corporate sponsorships with internal teams on benefits, recognition, and logo use.
• Collaborate with Finance and programs to document grant-funded activities and expenditures.
• Maintain donor/prospect records, contact reports, proposals, commitments, and next steps.
• Develop and execute annual grant, corporate giving, and sponsorship plans aligned with priorities and revenue goals.
• Maintain a qualified grant pipeline valued at ~3x annual grant revenue goal.
• Manage portfolio of 80-100 corporate prospects, prioritized by funding potential and mission alignment.
• Research and qualify government, corporate, foundation funding opportunities; cultivate relationships through meetings, site visits, and communications.
• Develop sponsorship proposals and recognition benefits that align funder interests with Saint Therese priorities.
