Concordia Place in Chicago seeks a Manager of Institutional Giving to lead grant research, proposal development, and compliance. You will oversee the grant lifecycle, budgets, reporting, and funder stewardship, while strengthening donor relationships and coordinating volunteer programs across campuses.

This role drives a strategic funding pipeline, collaborates with Finance and program leaders, and ensures robust data integrity in the philanthropy database.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of grant writing and grants management experience.
• Non-profit and youth development experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to write clear, precise, and compelling proposals and communications.
• Experience coordinating volunteers, boards, or committees.
• Experience managing a donor database/CRM with data integrity and reporting.

Aufgaben

• Write proposals, reports, and communications tailored to funder guidelines and deadlines.
• Manage grant lifecycle from application to closeout with compliance and reporting.
• Develop grant budgets and narratives with Finance and program leaders.
• Prepare interim and final grant reports demonstrating outcomes and stewardship.
• Oversee institutional funding strategy and donor relations as liaison to funders.
• Coordinate volunteer engagement and support Next Gen Board activities.
• Maintain philanthropy database tasks and ensure accurate gift/grant records.
