Job summary

Samaritans is seeking an Institutional Giving Manager to strengthen and scale our corporate and foundation relations. You will own the grants calendar, draft funding materials, and coordinate cross-department workflows to keep the institutional pipeline healthy and well-documented.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations, you will draft proposals, oversee deadlines, and support fundraising operations with a focus on impact and excellence.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in grants, fundraising, or development communications.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with multiple deadlines.
• Experience with grants management systems, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
• Excellent writing and editing skills for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of nonprofit budgets and program evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Own the grants calendar and deadlines; coordinate cross-department workflows.
• Draft and edit letters of inquiry, proposals, reports, and stewardship materials.
• Prepare briefings and meeting materials for senior leadership.
• Maintain CRM records and sponsor/prospect pipeline in Salesforce.
• Support corporate engagement, sponsorships, and donor communications.
