Job summary

Vaisala is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for its Industrial Measurements sales team in Burlington, MA. This hybrid position supports inbound sales across high-tech industries, collaborating with outside sales, product management, and marketing to drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has a technical background, 2+ years in technical sales, and strong communication skills. Training will begin in person, transitioning to a hybrid schedule, with a robust benefits package and EEO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
• 2+ years in technical sales or related industry (HVAC, environmental monitoring, instrumentation)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and organization; ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer focus; ability to communicate service features and benefits
• CRM proficiency (Salesforce, SAP preferred) and MS Office
• Fluent English; additional language skills a plus

Responsibilities

• Support inbound sales activity and provide solutions via live video, phone, email, and chat
• Provide technical expertise and product recommendations related to humidity, CO2, dew point, hydrogen peroxide, and barometric pressure
• Understand customer industries to identify strategic clients for outside sales
• Travel with outside sales team to support presentations and trade shows
• Input customer data and daily activity in CRM tools
