Job summary

WAC Group in Port Washington, NY is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist for a hybrid role focused on LED lighting and smart technology products. You will work closely with outside sales, distributors, contractors, architects, and project stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive revenue growth within your channel.

The position requires relationship-building, strong customer service, and experience with CRM platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electronics-related products such as LED lighting, devices, Audio/Visual, electrical, or similar technical product categories.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, SAP, Zendesk, or similar platforms

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, distributors, and sales representatives
• Respond to inquiries quickly and professionally
• Build lasting relationships that drive customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Support customers through the entire project and order lifecycle
• Partner with outside sales representatives to pursue new business opportunities
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Support promotional initiatives and product launches
• Drive leads and opportunities through HubSpot and CRM tools
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quotations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to ensure successful outcomes
• Help customers navigate complex projects and product selections
