Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer / Technician I for a hybrid role in Escazú, Costa Rica. Under supervision, you'll quote, review technical aspects, and support sales teams to optimize quote-to-cash service levels.

You'll generate model numbers, develop quotations, and ensure technical and commercial alignment. The position emphasizes collaboration, customer service, and sales within a technical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced engineering student.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office.
• English communication skills (Basic-Intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Generate and select model numbers based on customer data or application.
• Develop quotations based on Emerson, customer, and representative requirements.
• Provide technical review of quotes and orders to ensure conformance and readiness.
• Support Inside/Field Sales with product applications and solutions.
• Prepare quotation packages including technical, commercial, and competitive strategies.
• Follow up on proposals to improve win rates and ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of Emerson quotation tools and pricing policies.
• Understand and apply Emerson policies and compliance requirements.
