Job summary

Spectrum Brands, Inc. is seeking a New Product Industrial Designer to drive consumer-focused design within the Home & Garden R&D team.

You will translate consumer needs into innovative products, collaborating with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain to prototype and test ideas. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Industrial Design with 4+ years of experience, strong 3D modeling (SolidWorks, NX) and 2D/3D rendering skills, plus hands-on fabrication know-how.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and 4+ years of industrial design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing consumer-focused design, prototyping, and design-for-manufacturing.
• Experience with hard goods packaging and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Translate consumer insights into new product concepts and prototypes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Develop ergonomic, aesthetically and functionally superior designs.
• Create 2D/3D renderings and physical form studies for rapid prototyping.
