Spectrum Brands, based in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a New Product Industrial Designer to join the Home & Garden R&D team.

You will translate consumer needs into innovative, consumer-focused products and work with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing to develop and prototype new solutions for hard goods. The role requires strong 3D modeling, rapid prototyping skills, and collaboration across functions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design.
• 4+ years of experience in industrial design.
• 3+ years in hard goods design execution.
• Portfolio showcasing design, prototyping and iterative development.
• Knowledge of materials used for hard and packaged goods production.

Mansioni

• Translate consumer insights into new, unique product concepts.
• Design concepts focusing on ergonomics, form, and function.
• Create 2D/3D renderings and physical models for concepts.
• Collaborate with Marketing, NPD, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive innovation.
• Prototype, test, and iterate designs using rapid prototyping labs.
